Reiki:
What is Reiki?
The
word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom
or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "Life Force Energy". So
Reiki is actually "Spiritually guided Life Force Energy." Reiki is
a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes
healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the
idea that an unseen "Life force Energy" flows through us and is what
causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we
are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable
of being happy and healthy. The Reiki system of healing believes the energy
which is the life force or ‘prana’ is present in all of creation.
This Life Force Energy is what we all need in the right quantity to ensure optimum health - Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. It is this energy that brings forth Life and sustains it. Any mis-handling of this Energy causes ill health.
The entire physical world is surrounded and permeated by an energy field, which is constantly vibrating. This has been proved scientifically and these electro-magnetic fields around the body can be measured with a sensitive device called the SQUID. This device does not touch the body while measuring the energy field around it. Dr. Samuel Williamson of New York University says that the SQUID offers more information about the state of brain functioning than an EEG. Kirlian photography has made it possible to capture the image of the aura in a photograph. This is a special high frequency photography process developed by two Russian scientists; Semjon. D and Valentina. K. Kirlian. Kirlian photography is a way of representing the energy of the body in visual form. Since its initial development in 1939, the technique has been researched and refined by independent labs and health practitioners throughout the globe. The aura is a storehouse of all that we are. It contains the essence of who we are. Which is why, very often, we feel comfortable in the presence of some people who may be total strangers. Similarly from others we receive negative vibrations leaving us uncomfortable. Often the presence of a truly spiritual person brings about a sense of calm and peace to hundreds of people in the vicinity. That is because the aura of that person contains the essence of his spirituality and inherent goodness and is said to stretch over a large area. Negative emotions and thought patterns create blocks in the aura.
Apart from the aura our energy body also consists of chakras and nadis [Energy Channels].
The chakras are swirling, funnel shaped vortexes that open out from our physical body into the Aura. These constantly rotating funnels are the energy processors of our body. They draw in energy from the outside into our body. There are innumerable chakras in our body of which a large majority are small ones. We will concern ourselves with only the seven main chakras.
The seven main chakras correspond to the endocrine or glandular system in our body. Each chakra is in charge of supplying energy to a particular gland, which in turn is in charge of a particular set of organs. Besides this physical aspect each chakra is also responsible for specific emotional and mental aspects.
Just as blocks are created in the aura they are also created in the chakras. These blocks cause the chakras to slow down their rotation or become overactive which interferes with the amount of energy being supplied to the body so that the glands and the corresponding organs are adversely affected. This also has a negative effect on our mental-emotional health, creating diseases, which are psychosomatic in nature.
When Reiki energy is given to the chakras at specific positions in the body, blocks are cleared off, so that the chakras rotate at the ideal speed and provide optimum energy to the organs ensuring physical and mental-emotional well being.
The aura and chakras are very vast subjects. Given here is very basic information. There is no need for detailed knowledge of chakras though it would help the layman understand how healing takes place. The best way of understanding Reiki is to practice it.
Since Reiki is spiritually guided, it has its own intelligence. This explains why a Reiki practitioner need not possess any knowledge of medicine. Thus, even children can be attuned to first degree Reiki. The practitioner has only to place his/her hands on a person and Reiki does the healing.
The difference between life force energy and universal life force energy:
Life force energy is also called ‘ki’ in Japanese, ‘chi’ in Chinese and ‘prana’ in Sanskrit and other Indian languages. This is the non-physical energy that flows in every thing and ensures life. When the level of this life force energy is high a person they are healthy, strong and confident but a lowering of this energy level results in weakness and ill health. Upon death this life force energy or ‘prana’ leaves the body rendering it lifeless. This life force energy is present in everything.
All pervading Life Force Energy, on the other hand is spiritually guided energy that comes from a ‘Higher Intelligence’ or Higher Source. It is available to the healer to apply where there are cases of disease Mental, Physical or Emotional, caused by the disorder of life force energy. Being spiritually guided it has it’s own intelligence, starts healing at the root cause and compensates the depletion of life force energy. Reiki Master, William Rand says in an article on Reiki “It must be kept in mind that Reiki is not the same as simple life force energy as life force energy by itself can be influenced by the mind and because of this, can create benefit as well as create problems including ill health.” Universal life force energy, on the other hand, is spiritually guided and cannot be influenced by the mind. Because of its spiritual nature Reiki also acts as a guiding force in our lives and is available to help us in times of need. It acts for the highest good at all times.
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole being including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.
Its use is dependent on one's acute intellectual capacity or spiritual advancement and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not confined to any specific religion. It has no dogma, and there is no superstition, the need is you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from Infinite, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it.
While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Dr. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures.
During a meditation several years after developing Reiki, Dr. Usui decided to add the Reiki Ideals to the practice of Reiki. The Ideals came in part from the five prinicples of the Meiji emperor of Japan whom Dr. Usui admired. The Ideals were developed to add spiritual balance to Usui Reiki. Their purpose is to help people realize that healing the spirit by consciously deciding to improve oneself is a necessary part of the Reiki healing experience. In order for the Reiki healing energies to have lasting results, the client must accept responsibility for her or his healing and take an active part in it. Therefore, the Usui system of Reiki is more than the use of the Reiki energy. It must also include an active commitment to improve oneself in order for it to be a complete system. The ideals are both guidelines for living a gracious life and virtues worthy of practice for their inherent value.
The Ideals to initiate Reiki:
- The secret art of inviting happiness
- The miraculous medicine of all diseases
- Just for today, do not anger
- Do not worry and be filled with gratitude
- Devote yourself to your work. Be kind to people
- Use Reiki Treatment for the improvement of body and mind

History
A
Japanese Tendai Buddhist named Mikao Usui claimed to have discovered Reiki after
long Meditation, Fasting, and Prayer. Usui wrote
that by mystical revelation he had gained the knowledge and spiritual power
to apply and attune others to what he called Reiki. Mikao Usui said that he
had the ability to enable people to enhance their access to the energy through
certain initiations. Usui taught that his attunements to Reiki enhanced and
refined a person's pre-existing ability to connect with Reiki. Through such
initiations, students are said to become clearer channels for Reiki, and thereby
improve the quality of treatments that student (or practitioner) provides.
Some schools of Reiki are said to believe that Mikao Usui was pursuing knowledge of healing before he developed his Reiki method and that he also studied traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurveda, Qigong, and Yoga. Usui, however, claimed that the awakening of Reiki and the development of his techniques was something entirely different. Nonetheless, Reiki appears to be based loosely around ideas of ki.
He was born August 15, 1865 in the village of Yago in the Yamagata district of Gifu prefecture, Japan. Usui Sensei had an avid interest in learning and worked hard at his studies. He traveled to Europe and China to further his education. His curriculum included medicine, psychology, and religion. It is thought that he was from a wealthy family, as in Japan only the wealthy could afford to send their children to school. Eventually he became the secretary to Pei Gotoushin, head of the department of health and welfare who later became the Mayor of Tokyo. The connections Usui Sensei made at this job helped him to become a successful businessman.
In 1914 Usui's personal and business life was failing. As a sensitive spiritualist, Usui Sensei had previously spent much time meditating at power spots on Mt. Kurama. So he decided to travel to this holy mountain, where he enrolled in Isyu Guo, a twenty-one-day training course. We do not know for certain what he was required to do during this training, but it is likely that fasting, meditation, chanting and prayers were part of the practice. In addition, we know there is a small waterfall on Mt. Kurama where even today people go to meditate. This meditation involves standing under the waterfall and allowing the waters to strike and flow over the top of the head, a practice which is said to activate the crown chakra. Japanese Reiki Masters think that Usui Sensei may have used this meditation as part of his practice. In any case, it was during the Isyu Guo training that the great Reiki energy entered his crown chakra. This greatly enhanced his healing abilities and he realized he had received a wonderful new gift - the ability to give healing to others without depleting his own energy!
Mikao Usui trained several disciples. One of his disciples, the naval doctor Chujiro Hayashi, stressed physical healing and taught a more codified and simpler set of Reiki techniques. Among Hayashi's contributions was a set of fixed hand positions to be used in the course of a treatment; Usui himself preferred a method called scanning, through which he detected imbalances, and said that the hand positions were for beginners.
Hayashi initiated and trained Mrs. Hawayo Takata, who brought Reiki to the USA. Mrs. Takata claimed that she had been appointed Grandmaster of Reiki through the lineage of Mr. Chujiro Hayashi, and that there were no surviving teachers of Reiki to be found in Japan after World War II. Researchers have falsified her claim of Grandmastership and her allegation that no Reiki teachers remained in Japan, after they discovered lineages through practitioners other than Hayashi. They also stated that the title of "Grandmaster" does not exist, and is not recognized in Japan.
Hawayo Takata claimed that, after developing the Reiki methodology, as well as receiving the spiritual ability to practice it, Usui went to the slums of Tokyo to attempt the healing of beggars. However, after several years of very little success, he claimed that it was their mindset that kept them ill, even after he had "treated" them again and again. Usui then decided that there should be an "energy exchange" in return for a Reiki treatment. This "energy exchange" may take the form of cash payment, or a trade of some sort. The idea is that the patient is expected to regard the treatment as having a value up front and is prepared to invest himself/herself in the healing process.
There are essentially two broad groups, or schools: the traditional school and the independent school. The traditionalists claim to teach and practice Reiki strictly as it was taught from Usui's time until Takata's time, although modern research suggests that training under Usui differed greatly from the way Takata taught. Another, separate branch of traditionalists advocate adherence to the (now rediscovered) Japanese school's methods. The independent schools vary greatly in their practices and methods, ranging from those descended through Iris Ishikuro, which fundamentally adhere to traditional Reiki practice but eschew Takata's practice of charging $10,000 for attunement to Reiki "Master level," to so-called "newer" schools, which either add elements to traditional Reiki or claim to have been independently developed.
Reiki has been gaining some popularity worldwide within hospitals. The UK NHS (National Health Service) as part of its CAM (Complementary and alternative medicine) program uses Reiki and other CAM therapies as part of day care patient programs
How Does Reiki Work?
We are alive because life force is flowing through us. Life force flows within the physical body though pathways called chakras, meridians and nadis. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the Aura. Life force nourishes the organs and cells of the body, supporting them in their vital functions. When this flow of life force is disrupted, it causes diminished function in one or more of the organs and tissues of the physical body.
The life force is responsive to thoughts and feelings. It becomes disrupted when we accept, either consciously or unconsciously, negative thoughts or feelings about ourselves. These negative thoughts and feelings attach themselves to the energy field and cause a disruption in the flow of life force. This diminishes the vital function of the organs and cells of the physical body.
Reiki heals by flowing through the affected parts of the energy field and charging them with positive energy. It raises the vibratory level of the energy field in and around the physical body where the negative thoughts and feelings are attached. This causes the negative energy to break apart and fall away. In so doing, Reiki clears, straightens and heals the energy pathways, thus allowing the life force to flow in a healthy and natural way.
Five Vows for Receiver and Healer:
1.
JUST FOR TODAY I WILL LIVE IN THE ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE.
2. JUST FOR TODAY I WILL NOT ANGER.
3. JUST FOR TODAY I WILL NOT WORRY.
4. JUST FOR TODAY I WILL LIVE LIFE HONESTLY.
5. JUST FOR TODAY I WILL SHOW LOVE AND RESPECT FOR EVERY LIVING BEING.
The principles are self-explanatory and do not need to be elaborated upon. It
is important for the reiki healer/master also to follow these principles.
Do All Healers Use Reiki?
All healers use life force or Ki, but not all use Reiki. Reiki is a special kind of life force that can only be channeled by someone that has been attuned to it. It is possible that some people are born with Reiki or have gotten it some other way. However, most healers who have not received the Reiki attunement from a Reiki Master are not using Reiki but another kind of life force. People who already do healing work consistently report an increase of at least fifty percent in the strength of their healing energies after taking the Reiki training.
"This was verified for me when I first began teaching Reiki. There were two clairvoyant healers I knew who had highly developed abilities. They could easily see the life force flowing through a person's body, as well as see the aura and chakras. They could also communicate with a person's guides and Higher Self. They were adept at moving negative psychic energy out of the body as well as channeling healing energies. In my metaphysical work, they were the most accurate and effective psychic healers I had met.
They told me later they had doubted there was anything I was teaching they couldn't already do, but that they took the Reiki training anyway, simply to support me in my new work. After the attunement, they were amazed at the difference they could feel between the healing energies they had been using and Reiki. They said the Reiki energies were more powerful and of a much higher frequency. They noted also that Reiki didn't have to be guided like the other healing energies they were using, and that the Reiki energies began flowing without having to enter an altered state. They also indicated the attunement process itself was a powerful healing experience, releasing restrictions relating to their healing work they had unknowingly acquired when they were healers in past lives. They were very pleased they had taken the class." - says a Western Practioner.
Reiki Can Never Cause Harm
Because Reiki is guided by the Supreme-Consciousness which is Transcendental hence Noble, it can never do harm. It always knows what a person needs and will adjust itself to create the effect that is appropriate for them. One never need worry about whether to give Reiki or not. It is always helpful.
In addition, because the practitioner does not direct the healing and does not decide what to work on, or what to heal, the practitioner is not in danger of taking on the karma of the client. Because the practitioner is not doing the healing, it is also much easier for the ego to stay out of the way and allow the presence of God to clearly shine through.
Energy is Never Depleted
Because it is a channeled healing, the Reiki practitioner's energies are never depleted. In fact, the Reiki consciousness considers both practitioner and client to be in need of healing, so both receive treatment. Because of this, giving a treatment always increases one's energy and leaves one surrounded with loving feelings of well-being.
The value of Reiki as an alternative/complementary healing method is becoming more and more apparent to the general public. In fact, it seems like just about everyone either has Reiki or has heard of a friend or other acquaintance that has it or has heard it mentioned before. Not only is this causing an increase in the use of Reiki by independent practitioners, but it is also fostering the increased use of Reiki in hospitals and clinics.
This increased use especially in professional settings has brought the question of government regulation of Reiki to the attention of many people and groups. Some have started to think of Reiki in the same way they think of other medical practices and have suggested that it needs to be regulated and licensed. In addition, the current medical practice act that was passed in most states many years ago is so broad that technically, Reiki is considered a medical practice and therefore requires that it be practiced only by licensed health care providers. Note that this law is currently in place, but rarely enforced. However, the fact that it exists places all Reiki practitioners under an unnecessary threat that could be used if someone chooses to do so. This has happened with a few other alternative/complementary practitioners with devastating results.
Reiki Energy: How does it heal?
When seeking a definition from a more spiritual context, we find that Rei (Amitabha) can be defined as the Higher Intelligence that guides the creation and functioning of the universe. Rei is a subtle wisdom that permeates everything, both animate and inanimate. This subtle wisdom guides the evolution of all creation ranging from the unfolding of galaxies to the development of life. On a human level, it is available to help us in times of need and to act as a source of guidance in our lives. Because of its infinite nature, it is all knowing. Rei is also called Omnipresent GOD and has many other names depending on the culture that has named it.
Ki is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Ki is flowing in everything that is alive including plants, animals and humans. When a person's Ki is high, they will feel strong, confident, and ready to enjoy life and take on it's challenges. When it is low, they will feel weak and are more likely to get sick. We receive Ki from the air we breath, from food, sunshine, and from sleep. It is also possible to increase our Ki by using breathing exercises and meditation. When a person dies, their Ki leaves the physical body. Ki is also the Chi of China, the Prana of India, the Ti or Ki of the Hawaiians, and has also been called Odic Force, Orgone, Bioplasma and Life Force Energy.
With the above information in mind, Reiki can be defined as a non-physical healing energy made up of life force energy that is guided by the Higher Intelligence, or spiritually guided life force energy. This is a functional definition as it closely parallels the experience of those who practice Reiki in that Reiki energy seems to have an intelligence of its own flowing where it is needed in the client and creating the healing conditions necessary for the individuals needs. It cannot be guided by the Mind, therefore it is not limited by the experience or ability of the practitioner. Nether can it be misused as it always creates a healing effect. (It must be kept in mind that Reiki is not the same as simple life force energy as life force energy by itself can be influenced by the mind and because of this, can create benefit as well as cause problems including ill health.)
The source or cause of health comes from the Ki that flows through and around the individual rather than from the functional condition of the physical organs and tissues. It is Ki that animates the physical organs and tissues as it flows through them and therefore is responsible for creating a healthy condition. If the flow of Ki is disrupted, the physical organs and tissues will be adversely affected. Therefore, it is a disruption in the flow of Ki that is the main cause of illness.
An important attribute of Ki is that it responds to ones thoughts and feelings. Ki will flow more strongly or be weakened in its action depending on the quality of ones thoughts and feelings. It is our negative thoughts and feelings that are the main cause of restriction in the flow of Ki. All negative or dis-harmonious thoughts or feelings will cause a disruption in the flow of Ki. Even Western medicine recognizes the role played by the mind in creating illness and some Western doctors state that as much as 98% of illness is caused directly or indirectly by the mind.
It must be understood that the mind exists not only in the brain, but also through-out the body. The nervous system extends to every organ and tissue in the body and so the mind exists here also. It is also known that the mind even extends outside the body in a subtle energy field 2 to 3 feet thick called the aura. Because of this, it is more appropriate to call our mind a mind/body as the mind and body are so closely linked.
Therefore, our negative thoughts are not just in the brain, but also collect in various locations through-out the body and in the aura. The places where negative thoughts and feelings collect is where Ki is restricted in its flow. The physical organs that exist at these locations are restricted in their functioning. If the negative thoughts and feelings are not eliminated quickly, illness results.
The negative thoughts and feelings that are lodged in the unconscious mind/body are the greatest problem as we are not aware of them and therefore, are we are greatly hampered in changing or eliminating them.
The great value of Reiki is that because it is guided by the Higher Intelligence, it knows exactly where to go and how to respond to restrictions in the flow of Ki. It can work directly in the unconscious parts of the mind/body which contain negative Ki-inhibiting thoughts and feelings and eliminate them. As Reiki flows through a sick or unhealthy area, it breaks up and washes away any negative thoughts or feelings lodged in the unconscious mind/body thus allowing a normal healthy flow of Ki to resume. As this happens, the unhealthy physical organs and tissues become properly nourished with Ki and begin functioning in a balanced healthy way thus replacing illness with health.
This non-invasive, completely benign healing technique is becoming more and more popular. As western medicine continues to explore alternative methods of healing, Reiki is destined to play an important role as an accepted and valued healing practice.
Reiki changes and heals every area of life that needs healing. The healing takes place as a result of the energy raising the vibrations of a being/object closer to that of the original or ideal design. It assists in manifesting goals and desires. It works at healing relationships, between people or objects; wherever there is disparity and imbalance, the energy will reinstate order and stability. The energy can be used to heal and balance anything in the past or the present . Reiki can be sent to any situation that will occur in the future, to ensure the best results possible (to be balanced and harmonious). Reiki brings healing to situations that you may not yet be aware of. When an area in your life is healed, the altered energy will bring change to all other areas of your life. This is not just a state of mind, but brings real benefits. Once attuned to Reiki the energy is constantly available to the healer. With Reiki we can heal ourselves, our family and anybody or any thing in need of healing. In the process of healing we are never drained of our own energy. This is ensured by the attunement given by the Reiki master.
Reiki practitioners often channel this energy for world peace. Healing can also be sent to distressing situations. There is no limit to the ways in which this wonderful healing energy can be used for the good of all.
The Universality of Reiki
There are no complicated procedures involved in Reiki. It is so simple that even children are able to use it. You only have to be attuned or empowered by a Reiki master. It is a complementary form of healing which can be used in conjunction with any other form of treatment. Reiki does not belong to any confined religion. Reiki is a Spiritual System. It has been used by practitioners of Islam, Christianity, Shintoism, Buddhism and Hinduism. Some Reiki concepts have parallels in certain philosophical systems.
Who can learn Reiki?
A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including Body, Emotions, Mind and Spirit and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of Peace, Security and well-being. Many have reported miraculous results.
Reiki is solely science which depends on one's accute Intelligence and therefore is available to everyone who is Earnest. When we begin using Reiki we find that this energy, which comes to us from a higher and unlimited source, transforms our lives positively in innumerable ways .
Its use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.
Training:
Mikao Usui's Reiki method spread widely. The specific content of each of these courses varies widely from one teacher to another, depending on personal philosophies. A typical set of courses is something like the following:
First Degree Reiki courses teach the basic theories of how to work with Reiki energy. The channel through which Reiki energy passes to the practitioner is said to be widened through an initiation by the teacher, permitting the Reiki energy be strong enough to effect healing. Students learn hand placement positions on the recipient's body that are thought to be most conducive to the healing process.
In the Second Degree Reiki course, a symbol for mental healing is taught, enabling students to purportedly treat even deeply ingrained problems like fears, depression, addictions, and the like. Students are instructed on how to direct Reiki energy to a certain point in time, to a specific person or place, or a specific issue. The issue can be something like an individual's particular health problem, or it can be a more abstract or general issue such as world peace. Practitioners say that this is possible using three symbols taught at the second initiation. The claim is that this skill allows the Reiki channel to be opened even wider.
As part of the master course, usually the Third Degree, students become a Reiki "master" through the third initiation; they learn how to initiate students and have the option of teaching Reiki courses themselves. The student learns a further "master" level symbol in this course as well as the method of attuning others. In some cases the third level is broken into smaller stages of attunements from the teacher; the attunements for the first, second, and third level may also be administered in stages. A teacher has completed practical training when told that he or she has the ability to attune others to all degrees and has been given the final fourth Reiki Master symbol that is used in attunements.
It is up to students how many levels they want to complete. The courses are sequential, and can be expensive, especially the third (master) level. Often a teacher will require time in between one course and another (during which the student is expected to apply new learning before taking the next degree). Before offering Reiki treatments to the public, a student is often advised to take a second-degree course. It usually costs $150 (Rs.5000/-) to be "attuned" to reiki level I or level II. To become an official, recognized reiki master, one pays about $500 (Rs.15000/-) for the "attunement" process and also learns to teach and give attunements to others.
The considerable variation in the speed and method of teaching is there. Reiki was kept a closely-guarded secret and was only taught to people who were considered safe and "worthy". The traditional view is that Reiki is so powerful that it can be abused by those who have not spent time developing a feel and intuition for the craft. To this extent, the "truest" Reiki is still guarded and taught slowly by only a few "genuine" Reiki masters. Students on the traditional path may be made to wait a year or more before being allowed to learn stage two, and thereafter many more years before being taught the Master level. Any method that teaches Reiki "quickly" cannot be teaching the real thing, because there is no substitute for experience and patient mastery of the art.
The Reiki master
The Reiki master is somebody who has initiated him/herself in the realm of Rei and Ki and posseses the skill to use that acute Energy which destroys the ailments and evil habit-energy dormant in the bottomest layer of being and install that Rei and Ki. It is necessary that the Perfect Teacher must be Spiritually Advanced and established in Transcendetal Intelligence, which is the face of Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent Prana/Energy. That Master uses this skill for the growth and healing of receptive being. Anyone can initiate him/herself in Rei & Ki domain and become Master then Messanger of this Great Knowledge.
